Energy
![]()

I have always been skeptical about the effects of energy drinks but this past weekend made me a believer in one of them. It was about 9pm Sunday night when my fiance and her friend decided they wanted to take a run to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut to partake in some gambling. This sounded great at first, but it’s a two hour drive, it was pouring rain outside, and we just finished eating a big meal; so the itis was in full effect. My first thought was Red Bull until our friend suggested 5-Hour Energy and it just so happens that Walgreen’s carries six-packs of this magical brew. Long story short, the stuff worked for me: I drove there and back wide-eyed and alert (drinking one bottle each way). I lost more money than I’d hoped, but we made it home safe and secure, so I would like to say thank you to the makers of 5-Hour Energy for allowing me to drive long distances in the middle of the night, only to lose money and sleep in search of hitting it big at a video Black Jack machine.
FOKIS people
What’s up world, I’ve been missing in action for a while do to moving to a new spot but I should be posting more once I get settled in.
You can call me a punk, but as much as I love music I could never see myself quitting my 9 to 5 and trying to make it big on my own. But there are many artists that are willing to take that chance for their music and a friend of mine by the name of Fokis is doing just that right now. Fokis is currently working on the completion of a new album “Road to The Riches” Vol. 1 which will include guests like DJ Absolute and Joe Budden. Fokis also has a video series similarly titled “Road to The Riches” which follows him and his team through the struggle to get a record deal. If he fails to do so in 12 months time he claims he will give up rapping for good. (At the time of this post he is up video #10) Check out the video below for the single “Get it Together” from “Road to The Riches” Vol. 1 album.
On a personal note, the first booth I ever spit in was at Fokis’ studio……I’m pretty sure he thought I sucked (and I did at that time) and wondered why his friend had brought me there but he gave me some damn good advice and that was one experiences that helped me continue making music.
