John Mayer Talks Black Women, Jessica Simpson & Jennifer Aniston In Playboy Interview

John Mayer just got more candid than ever, opening up about Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and his “white supremacist” private parts. Yes, white supremacist.

In an interview with Playboy, Mayer explained that he was practically addicted to ex-girlfriend Simpson. “That girl, for me, is a drug,” he said. “And drugs aren’t good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me… Sexually, it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.

Mayer was a little tamer in their discussion on his other highly publicized relationship with Jennifer Aniston, and cited something unusual as a reason for their breakup. “One of the most significant differences between us was that I was tweeting,” he said.

The brunt of her success came before TMZ and Twitter,” he continued. “I think she’s still hoping it goes back to 1998. She saw my involvement in technology as courting distraction. And I always said, ‘These are the new rules.’”

But even after their breakup, it’s clear that Mayer still cares for Aniston. “We just have a regard for each other’s feelings that is pretty intense,” he said. “It’s been a deep relationship, and it’s no longer taking place at all. Have you ever loved somebody, loved her completely, but had to end the relationship for life reasons?

And although Mayer is known as a ladies man, he admits that when it comes to black women, he hasn’t been so lucky. “I don’t think I open myself to it. My d–k is sort of like a white supremacist… I’m going to start dating separately from my d–k.”

War Hero & Father of R.A. The Rugged Man, Sgt. John A Thorburn Passes Away

The arrival of the New Year has become a moment of sadness with the death of Staff Sgt. John A Thorburn, the father of underground rap artist R.A. the Rugged Man.
Thorburn, a highly decorated veteran, passed away on January 7 from stage four cancer in the lungs, hip and kidney. He was 63.

Prior to his death, Thorburn enjoyed a eventful career in the military. As a member of the Army, the serviceman was assigned to the Green Berets in the 10th Special Forces Group as well as the Screaming Eagles in the 101st Airborne Division in the Screaming Eagles. Thorburn later enlisted in the Air Force, where he became a helicopter crew chief and instructor gunner.

During the Vietnam War, Thorburn played an active role while embarking on various secret missions behind enemy lines. The missions would forever affect Thorburn, who was exposed to the chemical Agent Orange. The exposure remained undiscovered years after the military man came home from Vietnam. It wasn’t until the birth of two of Thorburn’s children that the impact of Agent Orange was felt as the siblings were born severely mentally and physically handicapped.

The legendary war hero’s plight was immortalized by R.A. the Rugged Man more than 20 years later via a verse on the song “Uncommon Valor: A Vietnam Story.” The little more than four-minute track, which appears on the 2006 Jedi Mind Tricks album Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell, offers a gripping account on the effects of the Vietnam War on soldiers and their families. Although the song as a whole was lauded as one of the standouts on Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell, listeners and critics were especially impacted by R.A.’s nearly two-minute verse, which received continuous praise from various publications and websites. The rapper’s 44-bar verse is considered by many to be one of his best.

In 2007, Thorburn was diagnosed with fourth stage cancer in the lungs, hip and kidney. The condition would ultimately prove to be fatal as the cancer traveled to Thorburn’s brain. A documentary chronicling the military hero’s life is currently in production.
Thorburn is survived by his wife, Dee, two daughters, Lisa & Niki-Lee and two sons R.A., and Johnny Omar.

Wayne’s Miami Crib Can’t Sell Due To The Smell Of Marijuana

Lil Wayne’s upscale Miami apartment is proving a difficult sell due to the superstar emcee’s predilection for marijuana.

The NY Post reports that the New Orleans native has been renting the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment from a landlord who has listed the property for $520,000.

The marijuana issue became public knowledge after several prospective buyers were taken aback by the signature aroma when visiting the home.

“My fiancée and I called to make an appointment to see it, and the broker, deadpan, goes, ‘I have two questions: Are you offended by the smell of marijuana?” an unidentified couple told the NY Post. “And do you mind coming late in the afternoon? It’s currently rented by Lil Wayne, and these are not morning people.”

Although the couple was initially taken aback by the apartment’s abundance of scantily-clad women, they praised the Grammy-winning rapper for his neatness.

“Once we got there, a member of Wayne’s posse opened the door to the overwhelming smell of marijuana. Two hot, rap-video-looking girls were walking around in nothing but a bra and underwear, blasting hip-hop. We just went in and looked around and tried not to stare,” they revealed. “He had a perfectly organized closet of crisp T-shirts on hangers, neatly stacked piles of XXL magazine, and a fully stocked bar featuring multiple bottles of Hennessy Black.”

Wayne’s recreational use of syrup and marijuana has been the subject of intense media scrutiny, and the rapper addressed those issues in two interviews this year with Tim Westwood and Katie Couric.

“Whatever the hell was in my cup the reaction I did was get more popular, more successful, learn how to play guitar, put on the autotune and stretched my voice, and became #1 in the country with everything I dropped. I should probably pick that cup back up,” Wayne argued. “I will stand up for marijuana any day. I’m a rapper. That’s who I am, Miss Katie, and I am a gangster and I do what I want. And I love to smoke. And I smoke.”

‘Gone Too Far’ Premiere: DJ AM, Gone Too Soon

The premiere of ”Gone Too Far,” a series about coming to the aid of drug abusers, was haunted by the death of its host, Adam Goldstein, a.k.a. DJ AM. Goldstein, a highly talented musician and producer, died two months ago at age 36, from what was ruled an accidental drug overdose.

”Gone Too Far” will chronicle Goldstein’s attempts to help eight addicts. First up this night was Amy, from Goldstein’s hometown of Philadelphia. Goldstein was a first-rate interviewer, questioning Amy’s mother, brother, and sister with careful precision. (Amy’s dead father, we were told, was also a drug addict.) ”I feel a lot of pressure,” Goldstein tells the camera as he emerges from these conversations – pressure to get Amy cleaned up and sober.

We heard about Amy stealing from her family – ”thousands of dollars” – and saw footage of her abusing drugs. ”I used to be a good person,” said 23-year-old Amy. ”I know I’m better than this.”

”Gone Too Far” followed a structure we’re familiar with from other shows: the user uses, there’s an excruciatingly intimate family intervention. Then the addict is whisked off to rehab, and emerges clean, for however long he or she decides to remain so. But what those other shows don’t have is DJ AM. He’s calm here, with a warm voice but a firm manner. He’s straightforward: ”I want to get her enough clean-time where it’s not just a bag of dope we’re talking to,” he says of Amy.

Amy did indeed go into rehab – though not without doing drugs one more time in a restroom in the Philadelphia airport. After the 90-day treatment, her family and Goldstein visit. She’s clear-eyed and cheerful. Goldstein gives her an iPod with the inscription ”Don’t pawn me” and uploaded with ”some of my mix-CDs,” he tells her.

You can criticize or debate how much the presence of TV cameras helps or hurts the recovery process. You can’t deny that this was a moving series. ”I’m a recovering drug addict,” Goldstein said at the top of the show, over the opening credits. It’s sad he’s not around to say that again

Woman From North Dakota Has A 7 Ft. Long Dog That Could Hold New Record

Boomer may be a buster: Measuring 3 feet tall at the shoulders and 7 feet long from nose to destructive wagging tail, he might be the world’s tallest living dog. Owner Caryn Weber says her 3-year-old Landseer Newfoundland keeps all four paws on the floor when he drinks from the kitchen faucet in her family’s eastern North Dakota farm house.

Boomer stares into car windows eye to eye with drivers. A 20-pound bag of dry dog food lasts the 180-pound canine a couple of weeks.

Weber says her furry black and white dog “comes into the house and his tail is so high everything gets knocked around.”

Weber plans to send Boomer’s measurements to Guinness World Records. The previous record holder was a nearly 4-foot-tall Great Dane that died this summer.

“Iz the Wiz” Passes Away

Graffiti writer Michael “Iz the Wiz” Martin collapsed yesterday in his brother’s Florida home on Wednesday, apparently of a heart attack, according to the New York Daily News. The 49-year-old Queens native later died of complications.

Beginning his career in the early 70s, the legendary artist was recognized for his work on subway trains, his unique style, and his signature “Iz” tag. Before the city of Queens virtually eliminated graffiti art with enhanced security and new subway cars, he was a popular figure among old-school graffiti artists as well as the Hip Hop founders who they associated with.

He appeared in the 1983 documentary Style Wars, and featured in the film Wild Style.

In a blog, one friend, Alan Ket, said, “His style was always wild and psychedelic seemingly inspired by some far out LSD trip which took him to another universe. His whole cars reflected this and his walls and drawings also captured his other dimensions of existence. In an era where style mastery was strict and copy cats were plentiful IZ’s style was avant-garde and loose, his blockbusters true works of beauty.”

According to friends, Iz‘s health “had been in a steady decline” for the past 10 years. He relocated to Florida in order to live affordably and to gain access to more affordable and convenient health care.

Eminem Says Nick Cannon Misinterpreted Mariah Dis – News Story | Music, Celebrity, Artist News | MTV News

Is Eminem taking the high road? As odd as it seems, that’s what the rapper did in answer to Nick Cannon’s furious blog post responding to Em’s apparent dis of Mariah Carey in a new track. Well, he’s sort of taking the high road. He still is Slim Shady after all.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1 host Tim Westwood on Saturday, Eminem explained the song that sparked the ire of Carey’s husband.

“With the song ‘Bagpipes From Baghdad,’ I kinda spazzed out on that record, but I guess I spazzed out on every record,” Em told Westwood of the Relapse track. “There’s a line on there that was a little harsh. It’s a harsh line. … But it’s like this, the way I look at it: I had no idea he was gonna take it like he took it. I had no idea Nick Cannon was gonna start wildin’ out on me. No pun intended.”

Possibly in jest, Em said his lyrics — which include the lines, “Nick Cannon better back the f— up. I’m not playing, I want her back, you punk,” and, “Nick Cannon, you pr—, I wish you luck with that f—in’ whore” — were misinterpreted. The rapper downplayed the situation, and his level tone seemed to be an attempt to diffuse any tension between himself and Cannon.

After hearing the leaked song, Cannon wrote a long, scathing post, calling the song “an act of racist bigotry” and threatening Eminem, “I’m going to make you wish you never spoke my name and regret the ungodly things you said about my wife.”

Eminem admitted that he hadn’t read Cannon’s blog post but got wind of the message.

“I heard about some of the things he was saying,” Em said. “I didn’t read his blog or anything. But it is what it is. He’s supposed to defend his wife, and I expected him to do that. But at the end of the day, it’s a line I said; it’s a song. What I actually meant to say is, I wish them the best. That’s what I meant to say. That’s the whole message of the record.

Asked how he’d feel about facing Cannon in a rap battle, Eminem didn’t take the bait.

“I didn’t plan on taking it to that level,” Em said. “Hopefully, it doesn’t. But it is what it is.”
