“…..I wrote a song to listen to & not for you to dance/ maybe you’ll dismiss it, or maybe you will listen/ maybe you will hate it, or love and choose to play it / whatever you decide, know its comin’ from my soul/ I’m the heart beat of Hollis Queens, that’s all I’ve ever known”
Good ending my friend, kudos lol
Drake Speaks on Video for “Over”
“Initially it was a warm-up record,” he added of “Over.” “I love the song. I love the message in the song. It’s funny, because ‘Over’ is the fourth song on the album and it’s the turning point in the album. It’s like, you get three songs of me sort of trying to paint the picture of what the last year has been like for me — trying to fill you in, almost let you into my world as much as I can. ‘Over’ is that moment where you’re almost worried on the album. ‘Is this kid about to … ? What’s happening? Is he changing?’ I wanted that to come out first. I wanted people to be a little nervous. This whole journey could have changed me drastically. Fortunately I’m able to step out of my shoes and reflect on it and give you some great music. ‘Over’ is a great alter-ego moment. It’s the dark side of things and I really wanted that to come out first.” – MTV

DJ Khaled “Fed Up” ft. Usher, Young Jeezy, Drake and Rick Ross (Director’s Cut)
This is some big budget shit, looks like Ciroc and Monster Headphones paid for this one. Also, can someone explain to me why this is a DJ Khalid track Ft. the others, what the hell does he acutally do to make this or any of “his” tracks his?
A Look Into Drake’s Debut Album “Thank Me Later”

Drake has lined up Jay-Z, Young Jeezy and “Forever” co-stars Kanye West and Lil Wayne to appear on his much-anticipated debut album Thank Me Later, the rapper told MTV News. Backstage at Wednesday’s Grammy Nominations Concert, the MC told Rolling Stone, “My album is slated to come out in March. I’m still working on the album, but they might try to move it up.”
Even without releasing a full album, Rolling Stone’s 2009 Artist to Watch was still nominated for a pair of Grammys, locking up nods in both the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Solo Performance categories for “Best I Ever Had”. It hasn’t been all good news for Drake in 2009, as a leg injury forced the Canadian rapper off Lil Wayne’s America’s Most Wanted tour, but it allowed Drake to instead focus on his debut disc. “It’s just pulling everybody together: I had a wish list for my managers of everybody I wanted involved that stem beyond hip-hop,” Drake told MTV. “I’m trying to pull it all together.”
One person Drake had high on his wish list of collaborators is R&B singer Sade, though it doesn’t appear that the two have recorded together yet. Plus, there was one more mystery guest that Drake was tight-lipped about. “It’s this other one I’m excited about that’s kinda left [field],” Drake told MTV. “It’s gonna be a great project — well-rounded.”
