DJ Carnage released this rare footage of Ye in the studio presumably working on a record for Good Ass Job.
Lupe Speaks On “Lasers” & “CRS” Album
Although he did not give an exact release date, he said that the LP would drop by the “end of summer.” “Thus far, I got the Neptunes, Sound Trak [on production], and I’m keeping the rest secret until we get full on rolling…Almost every record that you heard that’s leaked will make the album in some format or another.”
Lupe was also asked whether or not the rumored Child Rebel Soldier album–a project that would involve him, Pharrell, and Kanye West–would actually happen. “No,” he said, with certainty, although he did not give further details.
Lupe is currently finishing up his Steppin’ Lasers Tour which began in March, and will round out this Friday.

Kanye’s “Good Ass Job” Dropping In June?
Kanye West is finishing up his long-awaited follow-up to 808s and Heartbreaks, reports Billboard.com.
The album, which has been referred to titled Good Ass Job, will reportedly feature production from artists such as Q-Tip, RZA and Pete Rock. “I just try to work with people who I admire or whom I think has got it,” said Tip in an interview with Brooklyn Bodega. “So right now I’m working on Nas’ shit, about to work with Kanye on his shit.”
According to Roc4Life.com, RZA and Pete Rock were in Hawaii recording with Kanye, though Pete Rock refuted the claim via his Twitter page, and said the trip was “just a vacation.” Pete Rock did, however, allude to a secret project he was working on, which would fall in line with previous West collaborators.
Good Ass Job is set to hit stores in June, according to G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean.
UPDATE: During his Noisemakers event with Pete Rosenberg, veteran producer/deejay/emcee Pete Rock confirmed that he has been working on Good Ass Job. A recorded stream of the event is posted below:
